We focus on delivering accurate positioning services that are scalable, versatile and customizable to meet the requirements of every autonomy level. Our portfolio of positioning services is designed to meet the challenge of precise and functionally safe positioning while giving customers the ability to customize services for their exact needs.
Autonomy levels 2 and 3
Autonomy levels 2 and 3 are the first steps of moving towards a fully autonomous vehicle. Level 2 autonomy is the partial automation of a vehicle, something that is featured on many vehicles today. With these first steps in automation already in place, we are moving towards level 3, conditional automation. In this stage, vehicles can perform driving tasks by monitoring the environment it’s in, and the driver is still required to be able to take control of the vehicle with notice.
For these levels, autonomous vehicles will need to be compliant with V2X and DSRC requirements, As well, autonomous vehicles will be expected to maintain a minimum of 1.5 meters, 1-sigma positioning accuracy while using an L1 Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) automotive chipset baseline and L1 GNSS automotive antenna baseline.
We are able to provide various levels of Correction Services, engineering and integration services and a customizable software positioning engine to achieve level 2 or 3 autonomy requirements.

The image with the green line depicts autonomous vehicle positioning using a single-frequency automotive receiver with Correction Services in an open sky environment, which is the expected accuracy for autonomy levels 2 and 3.
Autonomy levels 4 and 5
Autonomy levels 4 and 5 represent high and full automation, where the highest positioning accuracy is required to ensure the vehicle operates safely. In autonomy level 4 the vehicle will perform all driving tasks, with the driver available to take over if needed. The vehicle is fully autonomous for level 5, and driver interference is not required.
To meet levels 4 and 5, vehicles are required to maintain lane-level accuracy, which is less than 1.0 meter, 3-sigma. To achieve this, dual-frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) combined with Correction Services will be required. An Inertial Navigation System (INS) or Dead Reckoning that’s paired with Vehicle Sensor Fusion will provide position confidence during periods of GNSS outages. Vehicles will also need to be outfitted with upgraded automotive hardware and software that is compliant with ASIL-B.
We are dedicated to achieving all safety certification required to provide high-precision positioning solutions to achieve lane-level accuracy for level 4 and 5 autonomous vehicles.
